| Super Mario Galaxy: By Omega Mario You have never seen a Mario Game like this one! Use Mario's wide range of moves and powers to fly through space from galaxy to galaxy, whether or not your floating in a bubble, rolling on a course, or swimming underwater this new Mario game for Wii can get anyone addicted. Use new items like the Bee item, which lets you fly like a bee, or the boo item, which lets you turn into a boo and go through walls! Super Mario Galaxy keeps all the same moves Super Mario 64 had, as well as new moves which will make a fresher experience. Graphics, Gameplay etc.: I really can't say anything about the graphics myself, as I think they are astounding. Probably half of the excitement of every level lies within the colorful, 3-D world it's in. The movement of the characters is smooth, and flowing. The shine especially adds so much reality to the objects, and you really don't see much polygon-ish graphics in most levels, unless you look closely. The water effects are medium good, but the grass, earth, and shine of every planet and galaxy will have you looking. As the gameplay goes, it's pretty solid, and less slippery then Mario 64. Though the punches and kicks were taken out of the moves, you have a new spin attack which comes in use a lot through the game. But other then that, all of the old moves are still there. You also have a new item, which lets you shoot the star bits you collect. This won't be one of your main weapons of the game, but it's a big part of it. The star bits can stun enemies and feed hungry Lumas. And my favorite part of the game, is the levels. The most revolutionary part about this game is the all around gravity of the levels. No longer do you have to worry about falling off most platforms, because you can walk all the way around them without falling off! This really makes the gameplay so much more exciting and fun, and you will never get tired of it. Almost every object in the Galaxy has this gravity, but sometimes you might fall in a black hole if you fall off a planet. Theres also other ways of traveling, such as vines, which let you swing to the end, Pull stars which pull you towards them when you press A. You also have the most common star, the Launch star, which when you spin, it catapults you at a great speed to other planets. You also have smaller sling stars, which launch you a smaller distance. As the items go, they did a so-so job with how many they use, but the items themselves you will get a kick out of. Theres Boo Mario, which turns you into a boo that can fly through walls, Bee Mario which lets you fly like a bee, grasp honey combs, and walk on flowers, Fire Mario, which when you spin, Mario shoots out fireballs that melt ice, Ice Mario, which freezes any water under Mario's feet, Rainbow Mario, which gives you the chance to be invincible for a period of time, and Spring Mario, which lets you jump great distances. Last but not least, the battles. The battles are a little straight forward from what I think ,and could of been more creative. Though some of the boss matches have their small challenges, but they could of been more difficult. The levels really give away what you have to do. A fabulous game, and if you played, and liked Mario 64, you will grasp the gameplay and strategy of this game in a few minutes, and you may be able to understand the puzzles and aims if you have experience with Mario 64.
